The night before the burial of her husband 2nd Lt. James Cathey of the United States Marine Corps, killed in Iraq, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep next to his body for the last time. The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of “Cat”, and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept.“I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it” she said.“I think that’s what he would have wanted”.-Not sure what is more honorable: Being married to this faithful wife to the end or the Marine standing next to the casket watching over them both.

Here’s what truly honorable - STOP GOING TO WAR!  Stop signing up for them, stop creating them because of the U.S.’s thirst for oil, possession of land, & domination of people.  Stop killing innocent people, including fathers, mothers, and children.  Stop using 9/11, eleven years later, as your fucking go-to excuse to put bullets in people that really have no other issue with you save for the fact that you’re in their country, on their land, in their homes, raiding, looting, & killing under the guise of “bravery” or “honor” or “patriotism”.  It’s bullshit!  Stop invoking the name of God (a God who never endorsed war, or has some magical light shining on the U.S. as a chosen country - remember the Bible events took place in the MIDDLE EAST, where the U.S. is killing people) as a crutch to deliver any particular brand of violence, rape, & murder, all while taxing the people who don’t endorse, care for, or believe in war.  One can stop seeing pictures like this by simply refusing to sign up for it.
If there’s no one to fight the war - there will be no war.  THAT would be honorable.
